For the life of me, I don’t know WHY this dude hasn’t blown up yet. I mean, lyrically speaking there aren’t many people coming up in the game that spit better than him. Secondly, he’s DJ TOOMP‘s lil homie–yeah the dude that did beats for T.I. and Kanye West. Third, he has one of the best live shows ever. No contest. Lastly, he’s a real humble cat. So I figured by now, with that total package, he’d be on already. Regardless, it’s good to see some new music from him and trust, this track does NOT disappoint. Listen as REi gives waxes poetic about his home state and the things that have influenced him to become the artist that he is today.
