Atlanta’s Fli Pelican brand gives us their final video in the online web series entitled “The Pelicans“. In it, the brand’s founder and creative director sits down to discuss the year that was 2011. Will they continue to make more videos? I hope so. Many of these 11 videos were insightful and showed the grind that I believe many brands try to cover up. Well, I don’t think that brands try to cover it up but many of them don’t take pains to expose the underbelly of running a clothing company. Guiding a company–clothing, blog, or otherwise–is a hard task and too many individuals find out the hard way that more often than not, it sucks monkey balls.

Hopefully, if they continue these this series in 2012, they will show even more of the the hard work needed to manage a successful brand. Who knows, maybe I’ll get a chance to make a cameo in a video one day.
