Anytime someone properly marries traditional sports styling with streetwear sensibilities, you can bet I’m going to post it on H1GHER LEARNING. The most recent finding: Chicago based streetwear boutique Saint Alfred‘s “Bull” themed capsule collection consisting of three tees and a pullover hoodie. Taking the well-known primary logo of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and having it appropriated into an artistic manner is both spectacular and simplistic, in a “why hasn’t anyone else done this before?” kind of way. Seeing as Saint Alfred‘s brand new website is not outfitted with an online store in its current iteration (word?), you’ll just have to call or visit the store in person the next time you’re in the Windy City. But kudos to theme for representing their city, doing so with style, and coming up with a graphic that both represents their beloved hometown team but is distinct enough that they probably won’t receive any C&D letters from Jerry Reinsdorf. #Winning
