This morning I was fortunate enough to get free tickets to the College of Charleston Men’s basketball game that was being broadcasted nationally on ESPN; it was part of the broadcaster’s 21 games in 25 hours marathon. The game actually started at 8am but unfortunately I wasn’t able to make it until halftime. I had an awesome seat though and took the picture you see above right as the Cougars went on their big run to close out Morehead State in impressive fashion*. The C of C’s Twitter account for their Men’s basketball team even retweeted my photo (I didn’t even know they HAD a Twitter profile actually) which completed one of my most interesting mornings ever. Here’s hoping they have more breakfast time games with some shrimp and grits available at the concession stands too!
*Actually, this picture was taken right BEFORE the run during a three-point shot contest in which some college student won like 10 free pizzas! You know who’s the man this weekend? THAT GUY!
