If nobody shows up to The Big Mix it’s not because we haven’t tried to get the word out. Our homies at the Charleston Scene (Sup Marcus & Elizabeth the Savage!) were kind enough to do a spread on H1GHER LEARNING and what we are trying to accomplish with The Big Mix.

This is by far the biggest press H1GHER LEARNING has recieved thus far…I’m just happy that I was able to share some of the shine with the fam. Big ups to Sir Mike of Warren, Black Dave, and Smitty for participating in the shoot and to Kyle of Realeyez Apparel and Christian of Citrus for the words of support in the article.

Thanks to Skilla Fashion, Fresh Out, FamCo., TigerPaw, DiptNYC, We Are The Process, Nanci O, Citrus, Realeyez, and SMiRKiN for the gear. I hope we made you proud! And a special thank you to Jack at Continuum Skateshop for showing love and allowing us to use his facilities on a cold Sunday morning! Also, thanks to both Amelia AND Dan for keeping us on task and making us look good in these photos!

Even though the process of bringing the world’s first ever Southern streetwear event to light hasn’t been easy, I’m thinking that the means will be justified by the end result. In the mean time visit the official FACEBOOK PAGE for the event and make sure, if you can’t pick up a physical copy, that you at least read the article online.
