So if you’ve been following the website for the past couple of months then you’ve seen me mention The Big Mix, my attempt at gathering as many people interested in Southern streetwear in one room. It will be held during Charleston Fashion Week, March 25th to be exact.

Recently, street art/streetwear Demigod and founder of OBEY, Shepard Fairey paid a visit to Charleston–which in and of itself isn’t a big deal seeing as he is from here. What is dope is that he stopped by Eye Level Art, the venue for The Big Mix, and left them a gift in the form of one of his trademark pieces. Maybe it will still be here by the time yall come down for The Big Mix.

Above is the video of him and his associates doing what they do best. After the cut you can view an interview he did for Eye Level Art. I tried to tell yall Charleston been ready.

By the way, according to the interview Fairey will be back in Charleston for Spoleto USA as he we be curating an art show during the festivities.

I’ll be late for that…” (c) Kanye West
