Esteemed designer Cynthia Rowley has teamed up with BAND-AID® Brand to create limited edition “dress up” band adhesives for the diva with a paper cut that refuses to settle for less. The BAND-AID®’s come in a collector’s edition tin and are available in fourteen designs—including lace, sequins, gems, and my favorite a Cuban linked gold chain. Each tin retails at $9.99 and can be found on Cynthia Rowley’s website and stores as well as the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York City (where if you’re a member you get it for a dollar cheaper).
A dollar from each purchase will be donated to Design Ignites Change, an organization that engages high school and college students in design and architecture projects that address social issues in their own communities.
This has to be one of the most spectacular collaborations of all time. A worthy designer, a trusted brand in BAND-AID, and they will donate money to a worthy cause: Win-Win-Win in my book. Check behind the bowtie to see some more pictures of the items in question.

How about this? Along these lines. Diane von Furstenberg Redesigns the Hospital Gown http://www.good.is/post/diane-von-furstenberg-redesigns-the-hospital-gown . Looks like a lot of market opportunity in this niche. I agree, just as a first thought not spending much time on it, but our healthcare associates want to be fashionable as well. May even bring morale up a bit more in a very dreary, at times, atmosphere.
