If you’ve been visiting this site for any extended period of time then I think you would know that I’m a big fan of both Wish and the Mishka brand. The two brands have recently gotten together to drop a special package, in conjunction with Atlanta based track bike boutique No Brakes, that consist of the two snapbacks you see here and a tee shirt. With that being said, just the mention that these two brands got together should make my head burst with excitement. But I’m not…not because I think it’s ugly, but because I just don’t get it. Like why did they do this? The design is dope: a peach colored Death Addler, one of Miskha’s staple designs, for two companies based in the Peach state. They even threw a leaf on the top of the logo for emphasis. It’s well done but like I said, I just don’t understand why they did it.
UPDATE: Just went to the Wish website and apparently this package has been created to celebrate No Brake’s third anniversary. Also Wish and No Brakes collaberated on a one of a kind fixed gear bike. Ok, that changes everything. But um…what’s with the whole “riding a bike without brakes” thing? Is that safe? Is that cool? Like, in certain social circles, can you actually pull chicks because of that?
“I can’t cruise on my back AND it’s really hard to stop. Hmmmm, what did you say? Yeah…it’s hella hard to stop. NO BRAKES on this beeeeach! Oh you like that? Here’s my number. Call me–tonight!”
That’s certified gangsta.
