I’ve always been confused by the term “lace locks”. When I think of lace locks I think of that spring mounted piece like on the Jordan VIs that actually LOCKS your laces in place. But lace locks like the ones pictured above (which are pretty sweet looking if you ask me) don’t seem to serve a purpose other than for aesthetics unlike a tie bar, that serves both in the looks and functionality department. That doesn’t mean this accessory should go ignored, in fact I have my eye on a set myself. The challenge comes in trying to find a unconventinal way to wear an already unconventional item.
