Usually I’ll post 3 or 4 videos but I just want to make sure that this video gets the attention it deserves. I will always respect Yo Gotti because I am a fan of his work ethic. Self-made underground legend that still isn’t receiving all the mainstream success I’d like to see him have, though I can certainly see the growth in Yo Gotti from the first time I heard of him until now. The rest of the world has  just recently been put on to Gotti with his hit “5 Star Chick” and recent feature on the Clipse’s newest album (Showing Off is the track if you didn’t know), but true Southern hip-hop fans beeeeeeeen knew what time it is. I’m a Three6Mafia fan, no doubt about that, but check their track record. Dealing with them is like dealing with Diddy. You will NOT have any long-term success doing so. It’s just not going to happen (which is why if anybody who reads this gets within shouting distance of Jay Electronica tell him not to fall in love with all the Diddy bromance he’s receiving). I mean, you’ll get on and if that’s all you want then have at it but Gotti went and stayed independent. Doing his thing and hustling hard and smart to make it happen. Listen to the lyrics too, Yo is spitting some truth on this one. I heard Gotti was supposed to do a show in Charleston a couple months ago but some janky promoters botched that deal. I’m far from being in a position to do anything of the sort but I do hope I can at least catch him in person. I heard he has a pretty dope live show. Anyway, enjoy the vid–if time permits I’ll load some more videos later today.
